Ed - Guitar, Bass, Backing Vocals

Ed was born and raised in Allentown , PA where he spent his early years as a geetar player wishing he would one day become a rock star. Ed says, "I remember hearing Randy Rhoads play on the first two solo Ozzy Osbourne records and I thought to myself, man that dude rocks." Then after seeing his first concert, Ozzy featuring Jake E. Lee, he devised his first master plan. "Man, if I learn to play guitar and grow my hair long, I'll get all the chicks!" Ed soon had his first guitar, a piece of crap acoustic that he traded for a Kansas record. It was not until years later that he was bold enough to go against his father's wishes of keeping his hair short.

Ed has played many styles of music over the years. He was awarded a summer scholarship to Berkley College of Music. He later studied jazz at Combs College of Music in Philadelphia . He enlisted in the United States Navy Band in 1991 and traveled the world playing for tens of thousands of people. But it was time for Ed’s second master plan. This time he decided to educate himself and make some real cash. He finished his BS in Computer Science in 1999 and left the Navy for the world of computers. Ed continued to further his education and now holds two Masters Degrees, one in Network Architecture and Design and the other in Project Management. He is currently a Sr. Network Engineer for the Nielsen Company. Yep, the TV ratings people

Ed is a very versatile guitar player. Or as he calls it "Geetar." "I learned early on that if I wanted to make any money at music, the more styles I could play the more gigs I would get." However, you will hear Ed's major influences, which include the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Greg Howe, Joe Satriani and George Lynch every time you hear him play with the Super Genius band.

Next time you see him at a show, ask him about his custom line of guitars called the Jedi Ed – Edocaster. He will talk your ear off about building guitars.
