Scott - Lead & Backing Vocals

Scott was born in Toledo, Ohio and moved to the Florida Sun Coast in 1980. Music has always been a large part of his life, having a father that is a musician himself. His dad has a particularly strong passion for music, especially Beatles music. In fact "dad" has played the guitar since he was 12 years old and was himself in a number of bands from the Toledo area in the 60's. Scott had to sustain a barrage of music, especially Beatles music and frequent guitar playing from as early as he can remember. Scott excelled in baseball in high school and helped pitch his team to win the Florida State Championship in 1994.

Scott's high school interests weren't limited to just baseball. Upon graduation in 1994 he received a "vocal scholarship" in "Choral Ensemble" from Manatee Community College. By 1997 at age 21, Scotts passion for music began when he became a founding member of the "Skyway Jumpers Band" with friends Brandon Katz and Matt Brown. Scott and Matt guided the band for several years and played dozens of venues in the bay area and for a while the two of them did an Acoustic Duo act for some of the quieter venues when the "Jumpers" were not playing. The Jumpers eventually developed into a pretty solid and entertaining band and Scott began to really take shape as an entertainer. Those tough years paved the way for Scott to develop his skills into a very solid and entertaining "front man". The Skyway Jumpers were and continue to be pretty successful in the Tampa Bay area. In 2005, Scott left the Jumpers to spend more time with his family, but in the end, after a couple of years, his love of music won out and he had to find ways to accommodate both his musical interests and his family. Scott, being very much "in tune" with the local music scene, got wind that a great 80's band, The New Sensation Band out of Sarasota, was looking for a lead singer. He jumped at the opportunity to join a group of "really great" musicians. In January, 2007 the band renamed themselves Super Genius. Scott was overheard commenting "A band can be the tightest band in the world, but if they cannot create 'excitement' they have nothing at all".
